ENGL 110 - College Composition I

First course in sequence. Inventing, planning, drafting, writing, and revising different essay types or genres for a variety of audiences and in a variety of contexts. Close reading and analysis. Introduction to finding and evaluating information. Collaborative invention and revision techniques.

Student must have a minimum ACT English Score of 18, other appropriate placement score, ASC 087 final grade of C or higher, or departmental approval.
