HIT 151 - Medical Office Environment

This course provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage the administrative and operational functions of medical office. Topics include medical office procedures, patient scheduling, medical billing and coding, insurance claims processing, medical records management, compliance with healthcare regulations (including HIPPA), and effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
