WELD 220 - Basic Metallurgy Course will introduce the student to the study of the crystalline structure of metals and how heat can and will affect the soundness of metals. The course will cover welding variations of different types of materials and talk about different types of materials that can be added to metals to change the metallurgical properties of different types of metals.

Corequisite: WELD 215 .
Prerequisite: Student must be admitted into the Welding Technology program.
